Harbaugh Doing Well On Recruiting Trail

Featured Replies

It's early but it looks like stud players are now excited about Michigan again.

No surprise. Big name coach. Great brand. Great support. Great school.

4* WR Amir Mitchell out of NJ

4* QB Brandon Peters out of IN

Here's a list of commits.

Add in #1 RB Kareem Walker who is high on Michigan and and #1 DL Rashan Gary out of Paramus Catholic who is a "lean" and you can see it's not going to take long.

That OSU/UMich rivalry will be back to being great.

I bet you posted this for all the right reasons. Nothing to do with your Buckeyes "non-hatred". :jump:

I posted it after a)reading that the #1 RB is now a strong lean and 2)seeming to remember people saying Harbaugh wouldn't do well recruiting for a few years.

As always, I'll await anyone's evidence to show me as a Buckeye "hater." As I always say, I root against NO team.

He's a first class jerk, as reported many times by many people.

Harbaugh is a very successful person, but he is one strange cat.

No question. Fascinating study.

What does that have to do with him as a recruiter or coach?

Judging by his success at Stanford ...not much.

Harbaugh learned well from Meyer and is avoiding subpar Ohio recruits

The other thing he's going to avoid are losses to Ohio State.

I guess you will be Michigan fan those years then.

I'll be a Michigan fan every year just like I have for the last 30 years.

I'm guessing that Harbaugh is selling his success at Stanford and San Francisco to these kids. They'll eventually figure him out and that will be the end.

How hard can it really be to out recruit the last stiff at UM?

Harbaugh is like Steve Jobs but with a football. He will do great at UM, their only fear is the Colts.
