IF I were Berea I would tell the KH$AA to pound salt, if they insist that the Pirates play Paris AGAIN. They've already lost to them 59-7 and are facing a season in which they will not win a game.

 

The deal was that the District 5 fifth place finisher was out. I'd insist on being out.

 

It's the KH$AA's problem - Not Berea's.

 

A bye is the only logical solution to the problem. Even if Berea would be good sports and come to Paris for another thumping, this game benefits no one. What is the real difference between Paris playing Berea or getting a bye anyway.

 

If they do play Berea, I would hope that Paris would liberally exercise their bench and allow the Pirates to be somewhat competitive, which wouldn't do them any good either.
