I saw that other (closed) thread about the elementary school attendance going up but I don't see those kids playing varsity. If there are kids coming into the high school, I thought they had to sit out a year if they had already played varsity at another school.

Speaking of that other thread, HC elementary/middle school only has one class for each grade and they try to keep each class at 25 students. I have also heard that they have a waiting list for some grades. All said, the 8th grade is now at 28 students which is their max. If this is true, makes you wonder where those most recent 3 students were on the waiting list.

It's 8th graders, not elementary school. One of those kids may start at center (very big girl) and the other will absolutely be on the varsity roster. No doubt.

PS...there is more news on that thread, but we may need to keep that to ourselves for awhile!

HC has K - 8 all in the same building with only one principle so I just refer to it as the elementary school.

Yes, I have seen the 8th grader you mentioned (a white female version of - the round mound of rebound). Chuck was only about 6' 4". There's no way she can jump like him though.

I would be curious to hear the additional information you have on that closed thread that either got removed or you couldn't post because the thread was closed. I did have to chuckle when someone said we should have FOX News investigate.

As of now, I promised I wouldn't put it on here yet. But it happened and I'm sure I would get accused of just being a hater and worrying about stuff I shouldn't be worrying about. The reason I keep coming back is to prove to all the ones that feel I'm just "Jealous of HC" that everything I've said is happening right in front of our eyes. Maybe it's just to tell the ones in denial that "I told you so!". I will let you know when I can.

I know some of this is from another thread but it relates to the Holy Cross program. You mentioned (in the other thread) other 8th grade girls, besides the two (that play Royals AAU) already going to HC, would or possibly could be headed to HC within the next year. You also mentioned that one of these possible transfer girls was a SK girl. However, there are no SK girls that play Royals AAU but there are two Campbell County 8th girls that play for Royals AAU. Is it possible you have the schools mixed up? I really hope not, the 8th Campbell girl got varsity playing time as a 7th grader last year. It would be a bummer to lose her to HC. I'm crossing my fingers that's not the case.

I believe the SK girl played for the Shining Stars.

played with royals before that. one of the originals

Is Tricia Macke coaching high school ball? Or just her AAU team?

I will just say that I'm not sure of all or which families will actually pull the trigger and go through with it. Its one thing to think its a great idea and one thing to actually make it happen. The AAU team is made up of kids from NKY and Cincy and some down state players currently. However, there have been many play with them along the way and left the team for multiple reasons. Because they were good 8th grade players, I would think some of them may still be in the mix.

Secondly, there are others that have no involvement in that AAU team or even that grade. There is more to come on that, but that's what I can't say for now.

If you're reading this, don't interpret my notes as a witch hunt for that AAU org or team. That's not what I'm saying. I know AAU buddies group together and a few can head to the same school in this day and age. That happens everywhere and I have no problem when a couple kids decide on their own that they want to play together. My question is...Why are they all picking HC?

Yes, he enrolled over the summer. Sorry, that was @Clyde.

If this has been mentioned I missed it. Who coaches this AAU girls team?
