I feel for there group of girls who came up through the system/School system and most won't get that opportunity to play because of what is going on over there. I blame the administration, the coach who has orchestrated all this while standing in the back ground. I get a kid or 2 transferring it happens all over but the way its happening here is ridiculous and if people don't see it then they are blind. I hope the parents of the kids who wont get the opportunity are happy and if they sit back and let this continue that's on them and have no reason to complain.

I will just say that I'm not sure of all or which families will actually pull the trigger and go through with it. Its one thing to think its a great idea and one thing to actually make it happen. The AAU team is made up of kids from NKY and Cincy and some down state players currently. However, there have been many play with them along the way and left the team for multiple reasons. Because they were good 8th grade players, I would think some of them may still be in the mix.

Secondly, there are others that have no involvement in that AAU team or even that grade. There is more to come on that, but that's what I can't say for now.

If you're reading this, don't interpret my notes as a witch hunt for that AAU org or team. That's not what I'm saying. I know AAU buddies group together and a few can head to the same school in this day and age. That happens everywhere and I have no problem when a couple kids decide on their own that they want to play together. My question is...Why are they all picking HC?

I'll add and ask this too...for those that say "this is just a case of a couple kids wanting to play together". When those situations happen, more times than not, those kids usually end up at schools that at least 1-2 of the kids already attended. It's usually a kid will join one of his teammates at the teammates school. Then maybe 1-2 others follow, correct? Well I don't think any Royals played at HC prior to these kids going there. So again I ask, why did they randomly end up at HC?

Spot on and we all the answer now don't we?

Yes I had heard they were running the cycle. Not sure exactly what they were looking for to be honest. Had heard for months the kid would be attending Holmes.

I assume they were looking to see who would hire her as a coach well HC did that and her kids are there now.

Let's not forget her nephews played at HC.

Then why didn't they just go there first...if that was an important part of the equation? Why were they working out with multiple teams over the summer? Were their nephews at HHS, NCC and Brossart too? C'mon man!

I don't care where he ended up. I really don't. It's just another piece of the puzzle.

It's just creepy how obsessed with this you are.

I'm a creepy dude! It's Halloween season!

If you look back, I'm not the one that brought it up in this thread. I was answering questions form others.

Secondly, it's not like I'm lurking in the shadows looking for information. It's not hard to find if you're connected. It comes to me! Some by other connected people and some from HC folks.

Third, Cap and I are not the only ones that know what is going on. There are many many others. We just answer the questions on here and for the ones that challenge us and try to divert the attention, we are now able to tell you what was said awhile back is starting to happen. Want us to just say "it's okay" and move on?? Let's just sweep things under the rug? Is that where we are in society today. Everyone does it, so it's okay?? Im not like that. I wouldn't be on this if there wasn't so much smoke!

Let's just open it al up and anyone can go wherever they want! I'd be okay with that if it was the same for everyone. Key there...same for everyone.

So who is accountable? Who holds them accountable? Very interesting since my now 7th grade son is on the waiting list at HC (he doesn't play basketball) We were told last year when looking to transfer that the class was full, which is why he is currently on the waiting list.

I'm glad to hear you don't specifically know that any Campbell 8th girls are transferring.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I glanced at the Royals roster and there are only four nky girls on Mackes roster as far as I can tell. Two have already enrolled at HC, one being a Covington girl that makes some sense. The other being her daughter, where if offered a job, that makes sense too. The other two local girls are the Campbell County girls. If it's just the two of them from one AAU team going to HC that doesn't seem too bad? A girl moving in from out of town maybe a little more sketchy, but that seems extreme for this age to happen?

My question is if Holy Cross wasnt beating your team and a state champ, would there be this outcry? Seems as those HC has there C A K E and has eaten it too.

Well aren't you funny. This started way before HC had ever beaten HHS...so that answer is no. Has nothing to do with that. But that's kinda funny. My daughter is a senior this year, so we'll see if they beat them this year when it actually means something to me. Do you think HC was the only team to beat HHS last year?? Why am I not talking about the others??

If you really think any of this has to do with their reacent success, you are silly. We are talking about kids that aren't going to have an impact for a couple years. And others. Like I said, I'm not just talking about the aau team. People just keep asking about the aau team.

And apparently you aren't following along too closely. There are MANY people that are concerned and the majority have NOTHING to do with HHS basketball. In fact, I've talked to more HC people than HHS people!!

But nice try my man. I know a lot and it's not normal what's going on. I can assure you. I will ask this again. Usually when you have a very successful season and have a very successful player that helped make that season, they are almost always honored with awards from their peers. Correct? Coach of the year and players of the year awards? Why do you think that player and coach didn't win POY and COY? Oh I know...cause only the HHS staff voted. Lol! There was a reason for that.

I'm not going to speculate on who may or may not make the move. But I will say that originally, I heard it wasn't just the local kids (NKY) that were potential candidates. And also remember, just because they only have 4 NKy players on their roster, they have worked their way thru MANY others in NKy. Just because they don't play for the Royals right now, doesn't mean that others "connected" to them won't show up there.

Some of you guys (not this poster) want to attack me, but no one has any answers to what I'm saying or the questions I ask. It's just "he's just a bitter cake eater!" Ha ha ha...that's hilarious! Has nothing tondo with where I'm from or who I support. It has to do with right and wrong. If you knew the whole story and still didn't feel that it was wrong, then we are definitely heading down the wrong path for high school sports in KY. I will give others the benefit of the doubt because I understand that not everyone know ls the entire story. It's not just about one aau team. It's much bigger. And I'm not just a bitter cake eater!! Ha ha ha!

I have suspicion that some that are attacking or diverting attention are either people close to the program or pieces of the puzzle.

What's really strange, for as long as this has gone on and as many posts by me and others are being posted, there aren't many defending it. And most of anything that is said against it is either an attack on the ones posting or diversions by people that just hope it goes away. Should be really easy to provide some kind of data or something that proves nothing is going on. Heck, even some HC people are coming out on the board with suspicions. I'm answering questions and providing information about something that I feel strongly about. If you don't like it, don't read it.
