1995, Murray State first round of the 1-AA playoffs. Similar situation with UNI scoring a TD without about a minute left to win by 1 point. They tore down the goal posts.

 

2012 Murray State basketball. Losing to TSU during the regular season. Nearly a perfect (regular) season.

 

2012 Murray State basketball. Losing in the round of 32 to Marquette. Murray State was up 56-49 with under 8 minutes to play, but couldn't hold on to the lead.

 

Miami beating San Antonio in game 6 of the 2013 finals. I am still not over that game. Don't think I ever will.

 

UK losing to... UNC in 1997, Duke in '92, UM in '93, and Wisconsin last season. The UConn loss in 2011 sucked because I packed up and went to Houston and see it.

As a player.......my senior against Walron-Verona up on the "hill" losing a perfect game with two-out in the 5th, because the centerfielder and rightfielder didn't call for a "can of corn", and the ball falls between the two of them. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

First ones that come to mind were both basketball losses. Texas Western over UK and Russia over the USA. I guess they stick with me because I was younger when they occurred.

When the Redlegs traded Robbie to Baltimore.

 

When the Royals traded the greatest basketball player ever, Oscar.

 

When the Royals hired Bob Cousey as player/coach. (No doubt in my mind he was hired to dismantle the Royals and run Oscar out of town)

 

When my son decided after his second year of college he was done with football.

Forgot to mention the year Dixie beat Trinity there, then came home and lost a heartbreaker to Boone in a mudfest at the 3 yard line on a bad center/QB exchange. I believe that Dixie team could have won it all that year.
