I bet a lot of his teammates feel that he is bailing on them but in the PC world we live in, they will never say it.

They may be thanking him for freeing up a playoff roster spot for somebody more effective.

Mike North on Fox Day Break sure isn't in that PC World because he list Sabathia up.

I think he also started wearing a knee brace once he came back from the DL.

Buster Onley said something seemed off with him during the celebrations. Maybe just hit his breaking point. This guy kills to win, so when I heard this I thought this must be really bad.

That's why I think something else may be in play...I wonder if he may have OD'd over the weekend and they are keeping it quiet. It is hard to believe a clubhouse guy like CC would bail on his teammates the day before the playoffs unless it is really bad...
