Found an Exercise I Love

Featured Replies

There is an exercise I absolutely love, too, and with Mrs. S still up in Cincinnati, I'm really getting out of shape.

LOL I guessing you are referring to an exercise where going to an alternate exercise partner is quite forbidden.

How cold is bugattiland in June?

Lakes can vary between low 60s to low 70s (some locals have told me ice has remained in parts until late May). Typically suitable for wet suits. This specific swim is in the Red River so my guess it would be a shade warmer. Plus you would get to wear a wet suit. Swimming around the keys you are on your own.

Swimming is also a natural sport some people can just do. I have put in a ton of mileage and I am still not great at it. Some people you can throw into a pool, they are naturally buoyant and after a few lessons are swimming at a better clip than me.

I actually prefer non-wetsuit swims.

You would

I feel restricted. I have bought a sleeveless though and hoping it helps. Haven't used it much yet.

I'm a terrible swimmer so I've always been afraid to start, but I would love to add this into my morning workouts.

I honestly love it and look forward to getting in the water. I'm bummed that today is an off day.

Went sleeveless this season and enjoyed it.

No. I just don't know anyone else who needs to have their mobility scooter lifted in and out of their vehicle all the time. ;)

Off days for swimming is by choice, isn't it? Or do the muscles need an off day like lifting or running?

Same here.

I occasionally have to take days of rest. But today, I have to coach soccer and I have my kids tonight...so it's really an off day haha.
