Thoughts?Predictions?

Huge rivalry game been pretty one sided for awhile. Think Ashland takes care of business just not sure how bad it gets.

Figure so but maybe not until the 2nd half. Boyd usually plays harder against Ashland them anyone else on the schedule.

Boyd may be a little better this season but not close enough to make a game of it. I would love to see this rivalry get back to what it was in years past. I can still recall some of those Herb Conley vs. Tom Scott games from the 70's ... Great high school football !

I like what Ashland did against Rowan Co, and imo they should continue to do that. Give Baker 5-10 carries, let O'Bryan and co get some reps defensively, then sit em and let the 2s and 3s finish things out and work on the lassing game. They are going to need it in the post season.

So it won't get ugly until the 2nd quarter? That's pretty early

Tomcats all the way. The rivalry still isn't what it used to be. Boyd scores, but it won't be much. Ashland still works on expanding the offence. Dowdy and company get the job done early and often.

I would like to see some new offensive wrinkles. Hopefully Dowdy can throw it around some and get Brown a few more carries than normal. A little off topic, but I really hate watching a game at BC...

Any thoughts on what those problems are and how to fix them? Obviously, they have a large school and fail to get the appropriate numbers out for football, but what else?

Good Question. Seems that all they really concentrate on anymore is Baseball first, then Basketball. A school the size of BCHS should have no problems getting interest for All sports.
