Mat Latos released by Dodgers

My how the mighty have fallen. Was DFA'd last week and now they outright realeased him.

Reds dumped him at the exact right time. And got a bad apple out of the club house.

Thanks Marlins...

We gave up some all stars to get him as well.

How does he go from being a pretty solid #2 to this?

Injuries and poor work ethic?

Who is the allstar we gave up? I liked the trade at the time for the Reds, he was a much better pitcher. Last 2 years he has been injury prone, most of them a little strange in my opinion. He is somewhat lazy and a head case to boot

Grandal....

Grandal....

Boxberger was an All Star this year as well, and let's not forget, Volquez was shipped off then too. And he's been pretty good since he left too.

So, 2 all stars, Alonso has not hit for the power I thought he would but he's still a .280 hitter and a solid ML player. And Volquez who just signed a $20 million dollar extension.

I'm not saying it was a bad deal, just saying let's not forget we gave up a LOT to get this guy too...

Where does Latos end up? His wife is a treat.

So how is Matt going to fulfill his intern quota?

Angels picked him up.

His wife got around town pretty quickly as well.
