Yup, see a lot of heads hanging and coaches flailing their arms.

 

On a positive note, Daugherty's foot is explosive. His punts are legit and that FG was a chippy from 43.

Have to agree... Nothing to brag about for SK. Would mean more if hhs was better. If hhs makes the state championship game then it will be a "banquet win" win for SK tonight.

Soon to be 1-5 will do that to you. Not much experience with it.

Granted I've only seen them for a half, but IF a team is able to contain Powell, I'd take my chances on SK beating me through the air.

 

At this point in the season, they wouldn't hang with T or Male. That can certainly change. Can't speak on SC, haven't seen them.

 

Powell's speed and strength make him extremely tough to "contain." Easier said than done when you thrown in the fact that he has a pretty good o-line to run behind. Follows his blocks well and his lineman block down field for extra yardage.

 

Playoffs should be fun. Again, I don't care how down Highlands is, this is a pretty good SK team. They don't make very many mistakes on either side of the ball. Very fundamental.

The solution is to make a qb change. Build the younger qb for the future. Still have district games and still could end up a #1 seed come playoff time..

Powell has definitely been impressive.

I can only attest to what I have seen in person.... No dog in the fight here. Highlands is at least competitive in this one.... With a lot of sophomores playing!

SK might be good this year but if a state championship isn't won this year than the whole year is a wash. Just don't see them beating a team like Scott County or another 6A caliber team from Louisville. If SK doesn't win a state championship I if a SK fan would start questioning coaching. Has had good teams recently but just can't finish.

As for hhs the coaching staff, its fine. Plenty of talent on its way. As a fan and almun I support BW.
