Has the Highlands staff and team lost faith in their QB? I noticed #7 standing by himself on the sidelines a lot. No coaches talking to him or fellow teammates encouraging him. Fair question to ask.

Yup, see a lot of heads hanging and coaches flailing their arms.

 

On a positive note, Daugherty's foot is explosive. His punts are legit and that FG was a chippy from 43.

Birds had 2 opening drives halted and that was key. Interception and a big holding penalty.

Powell has been impressive. He is the majority of their offense.

 

Defense has been good, but Highlands is atrocious on offense.

 

SK's db's made some nice reads and plays on the INT's. SK line has dominated on both sides of the ball.

 

As far as SK offense, they are more than just Powell. Receivers are solid and make plays when the ball is thrown their way. Racke manages the offense well.

 

I don't know if SK can compete with T/Male but a game with Scott Co would be a great game.

Say all you want.... Beating a 1-4.... Soon to be a 1-5 team is not a big deal.... Highlands is WAY down this year. Facts are facts.... To the eye test, SK looks nothing like Scott Co or St. X.... Not in any way to an onjective eye.... Size strength or speed.

Granted I've only seen them for a half, but IF a team is able to contain Powell, I'd take my chances on SK beating me through the air.

 

At this point in the season, they wouldn't hang with T or Male. That can certainly change. Can't speak on SC, haven't seen them.
