You've been to downtown Maysville before, so this is for those that are unfamiliar to the area.

Turn left off the AA onto 68 at the K-Mart/Ponderosa intersection. Go all the way down the hill, get in left lane when you pass the jail. Turn left at the traffic light. You will find it. About the only mistake you can make from here is to somehow end up getting on the bridge and ending up in Ohio (perish the thought).

So we can hear you coming I assume ?

I've gotten a lot quieter in my declining years.

Long trip from The First State.

Yep. Fortunately I moved to NKY almost 20 years ago...it makes the trip to Maysville much easier:thumb:

Hope to see some new (to me) BGP barbecue-festooned faces at the event. Always enjoy putting faces (Randy Parker being a notable exception) to BGP usernames.

We were told it was a kid free zone...

The Dawg will be in attendance on Saturday afternoon. Not sure on the time yet.

Do all the vendors offer sample portions of there products to try?

Along with the purple patent leather platform shoes. Had to fight off the young ladies with a stick.

There better be a wide-brimmed, purple hat involved in that ensemble. And the stick you're referring to needs to be a cane, ideally with an elaborate design that includes purple hints.

You can buy a ticket, can't remember for how much where you try everyones product. I know late on Saturday last year almost all of the vendors were pretty well sold out of most things.

I wanted to do this badly, but the only day I could do my trip to Elizabethtown was Friday. Saturday, we're taking my Aunt up to Miamsburg to visit the grave of her son. With packing to go home and all, this leaves no time to get over to Maysville, about a hour and a half drive from where we are staying in Fairfield.

Well, ol' papa ate high off the hog (to deftly coin a phrase) at lunchtime today, and brought enough home to do it again this evening.
