So I guess he restored his reputation by going to a bar underage, where it just so happened an altercation broke out. Then went to another university's dorms, where another altercation broke out. Keep stretching.
September 21, 201511 yr Keep stretching. How is it a stretch, it happened right, he had the battle wounds to prove it happened.
September 21, 201511 yr Because there's no comparison. An airsoft gun incident playing a stupid game pales to threatening to go to your truck and get an AK47 and then fighting police when they arrested you. But you saying they are analogous is 100% consistent with your approach. In his defense, both had the potential to be very scary (potentially deadly) scenarios.

September 21, 201511 yr Do I know for a fact they didn't? Nope. However, when's the last time an athlete was suspended from school and it didn't come out? And, from my perspective putting an entire university on lockdown is much more serious of an offense than what I'm assuming you're referencing in regards to your time there. I'm not going to get into what I was caught doing. I'm just grateful the university chose to handle it without involving the police. And from what I remember the university has always done a fair job of handling each situation based on all of the facts surrounding each incident. I trust they handled the air soft incident in what they felt was an appropriate way.
September 21, 201511 yr In his defense, both had the potential to be very scary (potentially deadly) scenarios. That doesnt matter to them, they are a UK athlete can do no wrong.
September 21, 201511 yr In his defense, both had the potential to be very scary (potentially deadly) scenarios. Of course. That's where it ends. One kid was playing a silly game and someone thought the guns were real. The other threatened to "spray the place" and fought police. Asinine.
September 21, 201511 yr That doesnt matter to them, they are a UK athlete can do no wrong. A non-thinking response.

September 21, 201511 yr A non-thinking response. Right back at you, thats what I think of most of your post on the issue.
September 21, 201511 yr Of course. That's where it ends. One kid was silly. The other threatened to "spray the place" and fought police. Asinine. There you go again downplaying what he did. It wasn't silly. It was ignorant and stupid. It could've potentially gotten him or someone else seriously hurt. It put an entire campus on lockdown and caused widespread panic to thousands of parents wondering if their children were safe.
September 21, 201511 yr To answer Plantman's question and in regards to police: Drew and the others were charged with disorderly conduct. So from a low level felony to a low level misdemeanor.
September 21, 201511 yr OK, this one went off the deep end, I'm out. Mind if I join you? Where do you want to meet?
September 21, 201511 yr So from a low level felony to a low level misdemeanor. I do not play an expert on law. I answered your question.
