Time for Barker. Please

Him getting knocked out wasn't right, but him running his mouth in enemy territory was an invitation to get knocked out.

I just watched the video again. Tell me where he was running his mouth.

You mean when people say he was in a bar fight, jumped a guy with 2 other football players, and then went to a dorm and "spouted off?"

Yeah, I could see where people might think that.

Can you see where people may say he's a punk for being stupid and carrying a toy gun around a college campus at night while dressed in black causing the entire university to go on lockdown?

As far as it being a silly, yeah you're right, it was just incredibly silly. Can you imagine how silly it would've been had a cop or two shown up before they were gone and, God-forbid, Drew or another of the players have been shot or worse? Man, it would've really been silly then!

I'm not wasting anymore time arguing with you about him, we get it, he's a great kid who was the victim. Why didn't you all send him to Covcath?

Good luck dude.

I just watched it again as well and two things stuck out to me.

1. It looked like everyone in the lobby knew what was coming but Drew.

2. At least we know Drew can take a hit, and stay in the game.

Already answered this multiple times in multiple threads. Not sure why you keep asking.

I don't think he's ready and I don't believe Stoops or Dawson believes he is either. If PT stinks up the Mizzu game then the season is lost and maybe give him a try.

We keep hearing the same thing we've heard for almost a year. "If he stinks up (insert whatever game is coming up) then give Barker a shot".

He's already stunk up whatever game you want to mention.

Just look at his last 8 games people. There has been no improvement. What are they waiting on?

The biggest thing you can get Drew on was being naive.

No there are bigger issues you can get Drew on, you choose to look the other way on them.

That's why the other UK didn't do anything but help him up, he got "dealt with" as the kids say. Still wasn't cool and the EKU guy should have faced a lot more trouble.

Reading this thread just from posts today, this thing has jumped the shark long ago. I'm out.

I think what you're saying is fair but I'm willing to see one more game vs Mizzu it's still early into this season.

How about we go back to football and people tell us why he should be playing over PT? He is s better runner in my opinion but is that enough?

The only reason I want to see what DB can do is just that, to see what DB can do.

We have seen what PT is and what he can do, he may be the starter again by the end of the season if DB can't get it done but we won't know until we see.

Maybe PT is the best option, but how do we know until we see how DB performs?

As it stands right now, Towles doesn't seem to be taking this team to the next step. So what does it hurt to see what the next man up can do? Even Towles got some snaps his freshman year in an actual game to see how he handled it. Why not give Drew the same?

But playing musical chairs Urban Meyer doesn't always work either, I am critical of what he does in Cbus.

I totally get what you're saying that you want to see what DB can do, it's valid. I just have to believe the coaches feel that PT is better at this point. I'm going to the Well for one more week at least.

I am a OSU fan big time and knew going into the season that he was gonna have issues with he way he is handling his Qb's.

The big difference is he knows what they can do in live game action and his issue is both will always look over their shoulder. Totally different than what UK has.

No one is saying play musical chairs with the Qb's in Lexington. Just to see what Drew can do. That is all.
