September 14, 201511 yr It is a sad commentary that a very honest mistake by a police officer involving a celebrity (and I use the term loosely for James Blake) gets all the press, while the killing of an officer will not get the same attention.

September 14, 201511 yr So did this piece of crap shot at the cruiser while they were moving? The story just says he took off, Trp. Ponder gave chase, then the low life fired at the cruiser striking Ponder. Also said he has been caught, is alive but injured. Must have fallen down or something while they were arresting him.

September 14, 201511 yr I am SO sick of the bad guys getting the breaks. One slain police officer is one too many. And now the gutless cop-killer-vigilantes out there - who apparently have nothing much to live for to begin with - will turn around and say that they were mistreated once in custody.

September 14, 201511 yr I also wonder if this was racially motivated. Because God knows that if it is a white shooter and a minority officer then it sure is. In fact, If Ponder had shot back the press would be calling him a racist for pulling over the car to begin with.
