I'm not sure what to think about Ironton. When was the last time they started the season 0-3. Ashland seems to get better each week, I see no reason to think differently. Palladino is of course a difference maker for Ironton, who knows if he will play. If he does, is Ironton a 1 man show. To put up points on Ashland's defense you will need more than 1 guy.

Think someone said 1968 was the last time they started 0-3. Ironton has more then just Paledino. Hopefully just not enough to upset us.

If Ironton's not 100%, this could be one of those rare years that Ashland really puts one on the Fighting Tigers. Ironton's fighting for its playoff life, though. There will be no shortage of motivation for them this week.

So is Palladino still out this week? What type of injury does he have?

Not sure of his status. I believe he injured his back against Wheelersburg. It flared up some against Russell, then he sat out against Beechwood.

Let's remember, this is still Ironton. We need to go in to this game thinking they are 3-0, not 0-3. Respect is paramount in this game. We have continued to improve week to week. Dowdy has really taken control and stepped up during the Russell game. Very good play calling and tremendous defense will win this game for Ashland. Of course players will have to make the plays.

1968. Started the season 0-5.

Baker gets and deserves the headlines for Ashland but a chain is just as strong as the weakest link. I have been impressed by the strength of all the links. Contrary to popular belief they drove the football against GW with Baker on the sidelines. I hope they work hard on being the best they can be throughout the year.

I agree. Most people that haven't seen this year's Ashland squad probably expect it to be a one man team. That's not the case at all. They have talent and playmakers all over the field, offenseive side of the ball and the defensive side. They would be good without Baker, but have the potential to be great with him.

Ashland looks very focused in practice. They won't take Ironton lightly. Cats should keep improving and take care of business.

Heard today and take it with a grain of salt, Paledino won't play. Has a bruised kidney. That was from Dickey who talked to Irontons radio man.

Will an 0-3 Ironton team still pack their side of Putnam tomorrow night? I think so, bit am curious.

Ashland/Ironton is usually one of the best, if not the best atmospheres in the area. Will the fighting tigers fan base show up in full force searching for their first win? Or will they stay at home and hope for the best?

Personally I think it will still be a packed house and a great atmosphere. I do think the TCats roll the Tigers in this one though.

It's game day! Bring on the Fighting Tigers. Any word on Palendino?
