I use BGP's rankings. Not AP, not the LIT, not Cantrall. BGP. Whose rankings are people using? I heard some people saying that Anderson County was #3 in 5A and then I heard on the radio that Corbin is #3 in 3A. When I heard that I immediately knew that they weren't looking at BGP's rankings and I knew they had no clue what they were talking about. How can we get BGP's rankings to be the default rankings of the state? There are a lot of misinformed people walking around sounding awful.

I am a member here as well as the "other site" as many call it. I think the BGP rankings are much more accurate than any others. They are made by people who see alot more of these games than computers or even a majority of the journalists do. None of them mean anything though, in reality.

Always BGP. I look at the others but the BGP rankings are my go-to. The most accurate in the state.

I think the LIT and Cantrall ratings have some merit, but not until the very end of the season once nearly every game has been played.

Funny story...last year during basketball season, @PurplePride92 and myself we co-hosting a 12th Region tournament postgame radio show. Ballard and Trinity had played that night and we reported the score, with Ballard winning. Mind you, I'm not a huge high school basketball guy like PP92, but I stated on air that "the score was a bit surprising because Trinity was ranked #1 ." @PurplePride92 states in a somewhat forceful tone, "NOT ON BGP!" And the BGP rankings proved to be correct!

I usually use BGP but I grew up on LIT ratings and I know a lot of people on here don't like them but I kinda do.

Predicted on the air that Boyle County would beat Ballard at Rupp too.

Most "authorities" don't want to use our Independent rankings because we will not allow them to be a part of the process. That will never change.

There are errors in all rankings. There are so many these days, I just make something up that sounds about right.

Although after seeing Seneca get 7 points in the AP Poll, it's obvious whose is the worst.

On a week to week basis who has the most accurate rankings then? I've never seen them. All rankings have their flaws but when it comes to accuracy BGP is ALWAYS closer than any other rankings.

I use Cantrall and Lit...wait...did you ask which ones a wipe with?!?

 

I use BGP all the way!!!

This is the only place I ever hear about rankings so I go with BGP always.
