Whose rankings do you use when talking high school football?

Featured Replies

Does any use/look at Calpreps? Like all computer rankings it has its flaws but I looked this week and it was hard to argue.

BGPs really does have the most accurate rankings.

Calpreps is really good. Its a great place for scores from around the country. They also have the GCL south as the best in the country to answer another thread.

I look at and sometimes refer to them all. The cpu models I find to be very good later on.

The flaw with calpreps is they use last year as a starting point. That doesn't always work in high school. Teams can change too much from year to year. Good examples this year are Dixie Heights and Williamsburg. Both those schools have been rated too high on calpreps this year because of the great success they had last year. Both those teams are very different this year.
