Honest question, isn't it like the 4th school since 8th grade for him?

Apparently, his family moved to Pike County so he should be eligible.

His path looks like air traffic control radar screen at any given moment.

I am not a coach, nor do i play one on TV. Not necessarily with this kid, because I dont know who he is. But, as a coach, is this the kind of player you would want in your program? I guess as a senior this is the last stop...but to know the flight risk is obviously there at any moment seems like more trouble than it would be worth? I guess some coaches would be ok with it if he is a "star." But for me, i think i would rather play the kids that i know want to be a part of MY program???

Was told he was enrolled at Chapmanville and couldn't get eligible because WVSSAC has rules in place to prevent multiple transfers in state.

Point well taken -- even if the kid expresses frustration, kids rarely are the ones who ultimately move an entire family. I am only marginally familiar with the school situation but my son and this young man played part of one AAU season together; without suggesting who the driving force was, I will say that the "grass is greener" approach was in evidence. According to more than one player and/or coach, he was pulled from the team in mid-tournament; one person has said it was actually mid-game. Later I spoke to one of the coaches who claimed the departure was so abrupt that the player did not remove or return his team jersey.

As always, I'm open to correction if any (or all) of this is off-base, but there does seem to be a pattern that resonates with Yo Mama's observation.
