What about Grey, IHM, summit view, camp Ernest, grant Cty. R there any players to watch at those schools @justwannacoach

I mentioned kids that can play multiple positions and dominate games on both ends of the floor. Sometimes it is hard to evaluate kids because their coaches have them stand around in zone defenses (just trying to win games), and you don't get to see kids play both ends of the game. When kids are forced to play man to man, then you start to see the separation in the kids' talent and abilities. I prefer kids that can guard people.

To answer your question though, in terms of school players, I like a couple of the kids at Summit View and a couple of the kids at Highlands.

Gotcha. Thanks it should be interesting to watch these kids grow and mature on the court. It seems to me this 8th grade class has a lot of talent spread all around nky.

If he's 8th grade your probably talking about Michael Mayer yes he is a very skilled big man

I saw him tonite. Kid is getting big and strong.

Does anyone know where Paul Kremer will attend High School?

Other top 8th grade players, who play multiple positions and can dominate the game in a variety of ways -

Michael Mayer, Pius

Jared Hicks, Conner

Paul Kremer, St Marys

Neil Green, St Agnes

ky playmakers did play this year year but in limited capacity. matt cromer broke his leg roller skating after last years aau season and heath tore acl. reese smith had surgery on his leg also. Everybody is back healthy and we will be ready to roll finally. May be playing the adidas circuit though.

SSSGODWIN. Clear some space on private message. Trying to message u. Says its full.

Got it. I think it's a great idea. Should make for interesting 2016. That would just enhance the other organization changes.

I'm just glad someone sent me the notice you were looking for me. Because I never would have seen it here.

Hearing Jared Hicks tried out for JV and made the team. Not sure how much playing time he will get.

Conner 8th will struggle this year. Buckler their big guy did not try out and the little point guard did not try out either.

7th and 6th grade teams are set. 7th should have another good year with Workman, Osterburg, and Ginn. Workman is almost 6' now, Osterburg looks to be quicker and stronger this year and Ginn played most of the summer against Freshman and Sophomores. With Rabe coaching this group they should perform well as all of his teams usually surpass expectations.

I don't no how he could make the jv team. In Boone Cty a eighth grader moving up to high school must play varsity and either be a starter or play significant time in varsity not jv

Not sure how its possible for him to make a JV team when I heard he didn't even start for his AAU team in 7th grade last season(and they said he's is a whole year older than everyone else). I also heard someone say his dad was the athletic director out there too. What a mess. The poor kid will be the one that suffers out of this whole situation.

Let's be clear....

- he isn't a "whole year older". In fact, he was only a few weeks too old to play in the new 13U AAU age rules from last season.

- "he didnt even start for his AAU team". In fact, he did start. And, he plays on a very select team that is pretty good and has some of the best players in NKY. Besides the kids who already play for us, there are probably only 2 other kids in NKY, who would start for us.

He had a great Summer playing select basketball. I use the word "select" because people on here get in an uproar when people say AAU. I don't think he will "be the one to suffer". I think it is great, and will help him become even better than he already is.

I don't know the whole situation with Hicks playing for high school this year but I do know he is a talented kid and I hope he has great success in it this year and learns from it to make himself better.

If Kremer goes to a Catholic HS, it will probably be Brossart or NCC.

This post has nothing accurate in it, if your going to post, get at least one thing half way correct or act like you know what your talking about!! This is not your regular athlete that is going to suffer from this situation, it will only make him better.
