Not sure if this should just be put here or in another thread: JV game between NCC and Cooper is forfeited by NCC and not happening tomorrow morning at 10.

Word to the Cooper players from the coaches was that NCC did not have a QB to play tomorrow.

Turf not ready.

Decent win for Cooper have some issues to fix. NCC playing a little dirty tonight.

Turf isn't ready? That's odd, because Newport practices on it everyday.

Both the starting QB and back up QB for NCC were hurt during the freshmen game yesterday.

The turf is ready, but the track is not. Not sure why that factors into the football game, but that is NCC/Cooper was played at Cooper tonight.

I think the track isn't ready and is why they moved the game. Plus I think Newport wanted to open the new field.

Cooper 2-0 and holding offenses to 3.5 Pts a game so far works for me.

Now NCC can get back to handing the ball off to Smith. They'll be better.

Their defense is really good versus the run. If their offense can get going they could give teams problems. I think they will be fine come district games.

District games have NEVER been a problem, since going to 2A in 2007 they have NEVER lost one.

Agree, Jake makes a world of difference in the backfield and on special teams.

How did he play tonight?

Enjoy your win Cooper. You have a very tough game next Friday good luck Jags.

...

Jags stay hot, happy for them. Glad my buddy card purchase is going to a good cause!!

Enjoy your Pizza : )

Cooper is making a statement to NKY and should be the favorite in 6A up here. With SK and Ryle playing well it certainly creates more interest. Looking forward to those 2 games on the Jags schedule.

I prefer the $5 off at Quaker Steak every time we go.
