Highlands has always beaten CovCath recently. We all know that. Even when they seem ready and more dominant, Highlands still owns them. So the question is what are the chances that Highland's reign over CCH is going to end this year? Both teams have been looking mediocre at best early this season. What do you guys think?

Way too early to tell.

I think both teams need to play more than one game before we decide anything.

Not a fan of either but CCH is definitely a formidable opponent this season.

Oh yeah... at this time I would say Cov Cath is probably a 3 point favorite. The game is in Park Hills this year. Will be a great game to add to this rivalry. Could go either way for sure.

If Cov Cath beats HHS in reg season, the birds would have to return to Park Hills in the playoffs. If they win then then Pulaski would travel all the way north to Park Hills as well..... Could be gravy train to Bowling Green for the Colonels.

Didn't see the Highlands game, but you really thought Cov Cath looked "mediocre at best" against Ryle? Can't agree with that at all.

I saw a team with a Soph QB who will only get better. These boys will be fine. No idea what will happen vs a Highlands. History has proven that "anything can and will happen".

I think Highlands is going to approach the game with the same swagger they bring every year.

They could beat Highlands but both teams are 0-1 right now so getting their first win would be a start.

 

Now with that said, I don't think it is a Gravy Train for CCH because I don't think either team gets by Pulaski.

Mediocre at best is totally off the mark. CCH gave Ryle everything they could handle and could of pulled it out at the end. Wouldn't surprise me to see Ryle contending for 6A title. CCH will absolutely be a tough opponent for the birds..
