Once you get past any networks first team I prefer to have a variety calling Bengals games (or any games for that matter).

You mean too often he defends his boys instead of calling it down the middle like a righteous superior? Or something else?

I was asking, not taking a position, I will try to pay more attention this year. Lots of times I tune all the talking out because I just want to watch the game.

Unless it is a Sunday, Monday or Thursday night game, I am normally watching Red Zone Channel so the announcers don't mean much to me...

I LOVE redzone too and ususally choose that over anything other than a Bengals game when more than one game is on.

I like Eagle and Fouts.

Phil Simms is the worst. My favorite is Solomon or Tasker.

Whatever happened to Don Criqui? Or maybe he was NBC. Seemed like he did every Bengals game.

Won't hear any of them, so their all good.

 

Games with no sound; therefore, no commentary, makes for a good time. It's almost like being there.

Once the games start I'm watching what the best game is anyway, not what CBS or FOX says it is. The joy of being in a neighborhood bar with Direct TV. I prefer the CBS pregame show, I find Bradshaw over barring and Long incredibly dense.
