This game was in doubt until the 4th. CAL was up and had the ball in the middle of the 3rd quarter. CAL played well on offense and the QB Carr looked fantastic for a freshman. SK defense looks to be smaller than last year and gave up quite a bit of yardage.

Great game! A lot of respect to CAL hope they do well in 2A they are fast and have some good football players.

Racke had a nice 60 yard td run. Powell had 2 tds and a 60 plus yard run.

SK gave up some big pass plays earlier. Then made some decent adjustments half way through the third that paid off.

 

SK ran the ball the majority of the third and 4th quarter and CAL just wore down.

 

Over all I was impressed with CAL. They should have a solid season in 2A.

He already looked good as a Freshmen. I think if he continues to grow and improve he will be VERY good by his senior year.

CAL had long pass for a TD in the first qtr the #2 was gone! SK kept kicking to CAL's fast return man and he almost broke 2 runs for tds. I was very impressed with CAL a great team to have on the schedule they played like a 6a team.
