Fargo (Season 2)

Featured Replies

I wonder if they will stick with the same theme and profile Danson's character in his earlier years for next season?

Season 3 is supposed to be post-Season 1(2006). Could see some S1 characters.

Gotcha. Just read up on it.

Another great episode Monday. Ending was fantastic, especially with the drumline music.

I can't think of a bad character this season. They're all really good.

I agree great characters, just don't get to attached to any one of them.

Had to checkout Fargo on demand since so many people on here liked it. After hearing billy throp children of the sun in the background music I'm hooked.

Is tonight the finale? I'm finally caught up on season 2, now I'm going to have to go back and watch season 1, I missed about half of season 1.

Yes, tonight is end of Season 2. I am excited but disappointed already as my viewing options drop off a cliff after tonight. I guess I might start chatting with the wife or something?

Finale was okay, but not great. Still an excellent season.

Season 3 will not premiere until Spring 2017.

It was a little underwhelming. Wrapped things up pretty nice, I guess.

Sucks that it will take that long.

I liked the finale. It was obviously kind of a "calm after the storm" type of ending. More people lived than I thought would, which was nice. I think if they had said beforehand, "we are going to have a wild second-to-last episode and then a much more subdued last episode" that it would have been even better received.

In any event, the writers and actors should win everything. They were all fantastic.

I didn't much like the Mike Milligan ending, I get the point they were trying to make, and I think they could have made the point without actually putting him in an office, that just didn't seem realistic to take a guy willing to kill people for you and put him in an office.

Plus it was pretty much a copy of what happend to Vic Mackey on The Shield.

I think it was worse for Vic because he was forced to stay there, I think.

Interesting season 3 note:

As fans of the first season noted, the second season ends with Zahn McClarnon’s now-fugitive Hanzee assuming the new identity of Moses Tripoli. Mr. Tripoli was the mob boss who employed Sam Hess, the bully who pestered Martin Freeman’s Lester Nygaard in Season 1 that helped set off that chain of bloody events. Mr. Tripoli also had two henchmen, Mr. Wrench and Mr. Numbers — one who is hearing impaired just like one of the boys playing in the field the last time we see Hanzee at the end of Season 2.

That's more of a season one note, right?

Hanzee looks nothing like tripoli from season 1, must have gotten some good plastic surgery.
