Does no Playoffs equal Marvin Gone, Andy replaced, Smith Gone etc. and a rebuilding of the Bengals? Does Playoffs and a Playoff win equal Marvin forever and Andy forever, free agents re-signing? I think this is it........ could no playoffs bring a decent draft position and a QB selection and a new Head Coach. Could a Playoff win or two move the Bengals into the elite realm of the AFC? Denver is getting old, NE can't sustain forever, Pittsburgh defense is old, Ravens are old, could Bengals and Indy become the new Pats and Broncos?

Who are tehy going to let walk. They are in great salary cap shape and will not let AJ get away. Everyone else, who knows. They may never have this talent level or depth again. Does no Playoffs equal Marvin Gone, Andy replaced, Smith Gone etc. and a rebuilding of the Bengals? Whether people like it or not, Dalton is NOT going anywhere. His contract is way too friendly for a starting QB. I doubt Lewis, but he could be if things really go south. As stated before they have to let some guys walk. I do believe Smith will be one because of who they drafted. I also believe Nelson and Hall will be gone. They need to sign in priority: AJ, Iloka, Sanu, Whitworth, Thompson, M. Jones, A. Jones Does Playoffs and a Playoff win equal Marvin forever and Andy forever, free agents re-signing? Andy is here a long time, unless he gets hurt. No QB will hitting the free agent market that is better and QB's appear to be not very good in the next couple of drafts. Marvin is a weird bird at times, who knows with him. QB - No HC- Maybe Could a Playoff win or two move the Bengals into the elite realm of the AFC? Doubt it because Dalton is not elite and most likely, never will be. Indy real likely, however, Andrew still throws lots of picks, but he is very likely to be elite. As long as NE has Brady, Denver has Manning, and the Stillers have Big Ben and they are healthy, they will always be a threat to win it all.

I definitely think the Bengals will be at a crossroad at the end of the season and we will see more than our share of changes next year but with the way the Bengals have been drafting I am not too concerned about the team as a whole, just the QB play.

That honestly was the one playoff game they definitely should have won. Now last year with all the injuries and having a rb have to play receiver because of all the receiving threats hurt the chances were slim to none. The talent level is there if healthy, but it comes down to the play of Dalton and well yes that doesn't bold well.

AJ McCarron is challenging Dalton more than people think. With that said the Bengals could have drafted a guy in the first round and Dalton was still going to be their guy to start this year. Not saying I wouldn't cut him, the front office won't. When was the last time they cut a starter in his 2nd contract with them?
August 9, 201511 yr The sad thing about the Cincy fan base is 1 playoff win will convince most of them that Marvin is a great coach and will say "I told you so" about Dalton. 1 win will forgive 12 years of failure on the coaches part and 4 years of failure for the QB. That's just how they are. For or years they will always point to 2015 as the reason Marvin should go into the Hall of Fame of coaches and will put Dalton as the best QB this franchise has ever had.
