Findlay D2. Olmstead's tuition room and board are fully covered by a combination of academic and athletic scholarships even though he had D1 offers in the Patriot League and the OVC that were much weaker than what he got from his current school.

So he was not offered a full ride in D1 football!

No. Not true. Olmstead was offered a half by the OVC team. If your that good why doesn't muti teams offer you a ride? Sure the OVC offered a half. Why. They don't think your good enough to offer a full. End of story.

Your telling me a kid would pick a D2 over the OVC! Lol. OVC in football is a top 5 FCS! If the OVC schools offered a ride kid would pick it. Better football. By far. TV. Playing FBS schools. A chance to get seen vs..........

Why would Olmstead pick a D2 then? Nope not a full ride. Hansel a LB!! So when was the last time SK had a D1 offer O lineman?

Yes, full ride. Better that D1 (Patriot and OVC) . Private school. Smaller classes. Tenure profs teaching, not english challenged foreign nationals. Summer conditioning voluntary. No teammates that are pure scum.

Will this scrimmage be played with officials and under game-like conditions?

I bet the 'Neers are excited to play against the new wide-open no-huddle offense the Tigers are scheduled to deploy. Weather will be perfect for this get together.

I believe some Trinity staffers will be in attendance taking notes on the Tigers and seeing the Pioneers in person in case the Rocks meet Simon Kenton in the 6A final.
