I believe the last couple of scrimmages between these two teams have been closer than the experts think, and there could be a number of reasons for that. But in would look for X to win the scrimmage, but again it will be closer than many expect it to be.

SK has more overall team speed this year and are more balanced on offense. The defense should be very good also.

"More overall team speed and are more balanced on offense"...than who? SK last year? SK two years ago? Three? That would be something since you had the same line then.

Than last year.

So SK has apparently been getting faster and more balanced every year for the last 6 years but still haven't gotten anywhere.

It's a scrimmage. Who cares who wins. Both teams will work on different things, including things they may never do in a game the rest of the year.

My prediction is this though: If SK "wins", we'll never hear the end of how they beat X. If X "wins", we'll be told it was just a scrimmage and it doesn't matter as SK was just working on things.

Then why didn't they play the faster kids last year because what I saw last year against Dixie was a lack of team speed. That's a legit question. Not a knock...I promise.

You forgot as part of the excuse, same excuse that was used everytime SK lost a 7on 7, "Powell didn't play the entire game and Racke didn't either'

4 new starters on the line.

Something tells me if one of SK's opponents had 4 new starters on the line, you would say that was a disadvantage...

Not when one was a top linenan at a UK camp.

Okay. What about the other three?

Sr. Josh Morrison 6'3 225 OT plays basketball and is athletic and can move.

Sr. Ryan Clark 6'3 285 OG played in a few games last year.

So. Sam Holt 6'1 255 C looked really good in spring practice.

Sr. David Sandlin 6'0 280 OG will be a 3 year starter, strongest kid on the team, has a scholarship offer to Kentucky Wesleyan and Malone University is very intersted in him.

So. Colton Williams 6'5 260 OT won top 5 at UK big man camp and also plays center on the basketball team.
