I find it is important at this point to note that me and my buddies were almost certainly the first people in Ky to have a copy of the original "NWA And The Posse" album after my buddy's brother brought back a box of cassettes with him in 1987 while on leave from Camp Pendleton.

Ground Floor.

I started to jump to trump you on this, but you're probably correct as I only became aware, but still early on, through a Rolling Stone Magazine review for "Straight Outta Compton" that peaked my interest making me run out to buy it.

I must admit that I got a kick out of being the first to turn on a couple of black co-workers to it as if I was so on top of things. They actually were a bit puzzled how I was on to it before they were. I still crack up remembering one of my black co-worker friends rolling his eyes at me when I sang along in the car on our lunch break as if to say "Give me a break dude, like it's all wrong coming out of your mouth". He no doubt was right as I'm sure that I looked and sounded pretty silly.

....

My wife and I will see within 7 days of its opening.

We should make it a double

date.

I wonder if they'll show it here in Bardstown?

Not gonna lie — I've been spinning all the old NWA/Eazy-E records a lot lately thinking about this one. The first trailers have been interesting, but not ridiculously revealing. Wonder if they should've had Chris Rock play Eazy-E?

Been there, done that in CB4. Straight Outta Locash.

I wanted to let that hang out there as long as it took before somebody picked up on it. Well done, MC Gusto.

Traveling to New York to visit some close friends the weekend it comes out. My guy and I already made a pact to not see the movie unless we saw it together. We will make it happen opening weekend. Beyond excited for this movie. Probably going get some 40s of Olde English to make it official.

Does not look interesting.

No Hennessy?

This will have a broad range of appeal, from ages 18-45, but like Getslow, these biopics are typically not well done. Too much is attempted to be covered in these films.

No Hennessy?

Nah. Hennessy was the 1994ish time frame. Pass me the 8-Ball, Clizzy
