Well thats very interesting that u r watching these practices because they do not exsist the only thing going on right now is conditioning and if coach evans is approaching things this way it is because he doesnt know he will be the head coach and he doesnt want to put the team together a certain way only to have it rearranged if someone else happens to get the job and from experience i know the boys will respect the coahces that respect them

as for Conditioning - Practicing its all the same when it comes down to it and yes I have been there, and no I didn't say I worked every concession, and have yet to even comment on basketball as I don't like basketball, I prefer my sports outside. I do attend an occassional basketball game, and must admit antonio was spectacular out there.

No...I am saying that waaaaaay back in 1985, 1986,1987 we beat Ashland. In fact we beat them my senior year (87) at Ashland 34 to 6. The same year they had Blake,Johnson in the backfield. I also remember beating Russell at Russell on senior night 20 to 0 my senior year. BC lost to Ironton was the only local loss we had in 1987. I do remember the games were great in 1983,1984. However I am not sure about 1988 or 1989. Dont remember the scores or who won.

Actually BC won against Ashland in 1987 35-7 in the second game of the season, but the the Tomcats beat Ironton that same season 20-19 in the 4th game and then Russell 7-3. I'm not sure but I don't think BC has EVER beaten Ironton. In 1988 Ashland agian lost to BC 25-23 but finished the year in the State Semis in a heart breaking loss to the '88 State Champs Cov Cath IN OVERTIME 6-0. I'm Pretty sure that Ashland beat BC in 1989 as the Tomcats finished the year 9-3 suffering their first ever loss to Belfry in the 1st round of the play-offs.

Are you sure Johnson was in that backfield? I believe that would have been his 8th or 9th grade year, I can't quite remember.

Thats has been a while back....LOL We did beat Ironton one year, I think it was 85 or 86, at BC. Thats what I love about our area...I am not the only person who likes to remember the things that are true to your heart..... Man I klove this stuff!!!!!!!!:banana: :banana: :banana:

Wasn't told how many but they talked like there wasn't alot of aps. I'm looking for Evans to be the man. You now how rumors go though, I like to think the ones I hear at church though are a little more sincere. But yea I know that doesn't always hold true either lol.

I believe Evans definetly has a shot, and from what I hear, definetly has been politicing for it. I think Lee is a wonderful guy, but something tells me that he wont be the man. Not sure why I get that feeling, but I believe that McPeek would get it before Evans would. I also heard one of the applications were from Missouri...How serious is that coach....Wonder if he is from around here originally?
