About 14% of America is black. 30% of police shootings are against blacks.

 

I would have to get my teenager to figure out that equation, but I can just look at it and see something is up.

 

And then to actually go to 2nd Grade the student asked , "what percentage of violent crimes are committed by blacks?" As this might be pertinent to the discussion.

 

If everything was as straight lined as your thinking, their wouldn't be a black President, because the percentages wouldn't support it.

If people don't want the police to come and help, then don't call for help. When the police come, then help them get the situation correct. Police are like officials, despite what the fans (community) think, they could care a less who wins the game. They just want to get the call right. I have to believe their best days are when nothing too exciting is going down.

I don't disagree. That's why I am consistent with the position. Few people in this country can truly say that, however.

After rereading all this in this thread here is my opinion, which in reality means nothing but to my self. White people don't want to see murder of any color. All Lives Matter started being said in push back to the hypocritical outrage of murder that only sparked unrest when done by a white person to a black person. The hypocrisy of the BLM comes in when they will tear a city up for a white on black murder but not a black on black murder which happens 1000 times more frequently. It looks racist when only the white on black crimes are called out. There is no outrage for black on black, black on white. That's where all lives matter comes from. White people are just calling bull crap because the black community has not done enough to curb the black on black violence and has no right to pick and choose which murder is worst. News flash --- it's all bad. 99% hate it. I believe black lives matter, does mine? Does the lives of my children, yours? Of course, so All live matter. It's not just about who is killing who. It's about the killing period. Blm has the chance to morph into an anti violence movement for the black community, instead its focus is nothing more than hypocritical race baiting. It's not protecting black people from violence, it's a vehicle to protest and riot when those who are white are doing it. The reaction gives black on black crime a blind pass. When are we going to see the same outrage for all the murders committed against black people, including when done by another black person? When? When will the community step up and stop the violence against itself? Until the movement can get past color and speak for life not just blacks you cant be part of all lives matter. Let's save as many people ( screw your color) as possible. If you only see color in a crime you miss the fact that another human has lost their existence to another. We all see color, if that's your main focus then maybe you are part of the problem.

Spend that same energy to stop the violence in the community also then I can take you seriously about caring about people's lives. Stop using a few instances of perceived racism by police to lash out at society in general. Society in general would be on your side if you weren't hypocritical. How many racist acts themselves by blacks have reared their head during such protests? More than a few. I can't be for your cause if your hypocritical. I want to be but you have to be willing to accept your part in the solution. There is alot of violence in the black community that doesn't involve a white police officer. Cops kill alot of poeple, ( white poeple die by police also) some warranted and some not. I wish we weren't getting killed by police. It's a problem but not near the scale of black on black crime. I hate the fact that blacks are killing each other and it gets swept under the rug. Nobody's protesting for all those victims. The arguement you make isn't based on actions or facts.
