Johnnie Lemaster named new Ashland coach

Some in this thread act like they are close to the situation. Maybe not close to the program but either way there are some childish posts by those "in the know" that are doing nothing to help the program.

I forgot you know all. But what I do know is that while reading your posts, I'm embarrassed for the program. You have said absolutely nothing positive for the program. You obviously have an agenda as much as you like to deny it.

He seems to be from Paintsville, so I don't think it's fair to say Ashland fans are hurting their own program.

And I'm on the committee, so there's that.

No, I figure with your mouth full of popcorn it'll limit your onslaught of the coach.:jump:

We might have to discuss it through a chain link fence, but I'm certainly game if you are. Dr. Pepper too please.

Hey spinmaster, you are the committee. Remember? If you're gonna take part in this conversation, keep up with what's going on here now.

The important part of being a spin doctor is remembering what you said in your last sentence. One can make one's self look mighty foolish when you forget what you said to cover up what you just tried to cover up before that.

Just a professional tip to help you along the process here, doc.:D

Obviously more than you know about what's even being talked about. You're totally lost on this one, aren't you. But just thought it would be cool and intelligent sounding to throw in you're 2 cents, even when you can't keep up with the subject matter?

Heard yesterday that Lemaster's son-in-law is now teaching at Ashland High School. Is this correct?

No I can keep up. Your rearend hurts that Ashland hired Johnnie Lemaster as their baseball coach.

I also know a few things about the high school coach hiring process. Lemaster had the best resume and most experience. Once a head coach is hired, they fill out their staff. You don't like that but that's cool. Nobody is going to change the process because of you.

Gee, you're one sharp cookie.

Can't be. Well maybe he could be. He might have went to some special classes that taught the proper procedures on mop usage over the summer.

Yes. I've also heard that his son may be the best QB on the roster. He's a Freshman.

Jealousy is a funny shade of green.

You obviously had your feelings hurt by Craig Ratliff. Your personal attacks against him are very childish. I don't know of too many people that can get hired as a math teacher in high school without having a degree. It's time to let it go.

True, he is a Freshman, however he is 16. I don't know about the best on the roster, I believe that still goes to Roberts. He's one of a couple good ones. He also plays short stop on the baseball team.

We are hashing out some issues now.

He's 16 already? Will he be eligible to play any sports by the time he a Senior?
