July 21, 201511 yr Chamberlain was a 7 ft. High Jumper. He's one of the most athletic 7 footers ever. I think most people remember the 70's Wilt. In the early to late 60's he was a specimen. In addition to the high jump he was a very nice middle distance runner and also competed in the broad and triple jump successfully as well as throwing the disk and shot. All the while taking care of 1.3 women every night for 40 years. Stamina is important on the court too.

The Lakers didn't win any titles in the 1960s, but otherwise have won a title in every single decade (1999/2000 and 2009/2010 clawing their way in on partials). That includes the 1940s. The Celtics were no doubt THE program of the first 40 years of the NBA, but one title in the last 29 years removes the consistency factor for them.
