July 4, 201511 yr I'd have to make Norm McDonald the top dog. The old-school guy in me loved Jane Curtain and Bill Murray together, with some Aykroyd for point-counterpoint.

July 4, 201511 yr 1. Norm 2. Dennis Miller 3. Amy Poehler & Seth Meyers 4. Jimmy Fallon & Tina Fey 5. Seth Meyers & Cecily Strong Honorable Mention Amy and Horatio, IMO he's one of the most under appreciated ever on the show. I'd like to see Keenan get a shot at the news desk, longest current serving cast member (3rd longest ever)...needs some desk time!!!
July 4, 201511 yr Haven't watched SNL in about 25-30 years, so it's got to be those in the late 70's early 80's.
July 4, 201511 yr Norm Mcdonald Dennis Miller Fallon & Fey Seth Meyers I know Curtain & Akroyd get a lot of love, but I would rate them as just ok. It could be that I'm a bit too young...I was only 7 years old and didn't really start watching Saturday night live until the 80's. But I still find much of the other stuff from that era funny.
