Boyle County will be decent next year, I wouldn't say district champions. Colton will average a double double easy next year. Boyle will run the offense through him so its important he stays out of foul trouble. Guard play is what concerns me, you don't replace two All State players, and two other

Senior guards without concern. I think the sophomore class has two good guards and will have to develope FAST, like PP said this is GROWN MEN ball now. December can't come fast enough!

I was worried about the guards until I watched them play this summer. Now I'm ready.

They will have their bumps, but they will improve each and every game. I am ready for the process to begin. They will not be one of the teams you can lay down on. They will come to play!

If Boyle finds the right point guard to distribute the ball, and put Colton on the block and make sure the offense goes through him, they will be good. Mack Cox will change the dynamical on with possibly a transfer kid who hasn't played in a year or so but was a really good athlete. Also 2 years ago when Robbins was a Sophmore we used him to break the press, he did fine. Also Robbins can shoot if he gets the opportunity, he avg almost 80 % from line this year. Robbins was more of a role player this year. It should change this coming year. In fact I would say we do not beat Danville in the district or Lex Catholic in sweet 16, last year without Josiah,

I saw in the Shane Hall thread that Hall was second all time in the state with 474 blocked shots. How many blocked shots does Colton have in his career?

Josiah and Colton will lead the offense for sure. I really liked what I saw from both of them in June. Same goes for Mack. I already like the attitude that the team has. I expect a strong and tough mental approach from the team. Defensive minded with the opportunity to grow offensively as the season progresses and the young ones get acclimated to varsity basketball. It should be a fun season.

Would love to know if the Boyle County folks know the answer to this one. Or what about last year/single season?

@Rebelstat

Will find out and get back to ya.

Appreciate it!!!!

Looking over the schedule again it looks more challenging than at first glance. This team will be battle tested by district tournament time. I'm ready for the season to get underway!!!!!

Boyle looks to rely heavily on the bench early on as the football Rebels prepare to make a deep playoff run. Don't count on Robbins, Cox, Sharp, Hodge, Bramel until mid/late December!

Any news on this @Rebelstat? How many total blocks does Colton Elkins have right now?

Surely Colton Elkins should be up here somewhere.
