June 16, 201511 yr Reds have 9 relievers right now. :lol2: Phillips 2B De Jesus LF Votto 1B Frazier 3B Bruce DH Pena C Dominguez RF Hamilton CF Negron SS If that ain't a lineup to strike fear in an opponent, I don't know what is! Suarez needs to be in there at SS, he's started out slow but he's the SS of the future. Glad DeJesus is back in there but can we please get Yorman on the team instead of having 9 pitchers. He should be in RF tonight. He went 2-5 with a dinger for Louisville last night and is batting .375 over his last 10. Negron and Dominguez, what a joke.
June 16, 201511 yr Author I gotta go with plantmanky on this one. Dont do that @UKMustangFan & @HammerTime will TP your car like they did mine. Yes I know it was you two.
June 16, 201511 yr Good riddance to Boesch. Dude sucked something awful. I was optimistic about Boesch's chances this year but I agree, good riddance. I'd rather play younger guys that have potential to stick around for a bit.
June 17, 201511 yr How many games do you think hes played in his career? Way more than 3, he knew better, went stupid, got hurt, now he is useless. While we're at let's cut the guy who got caught off second on a ball hit to the pitcher. I'm sure he's been around long enough to know better.

I thought Negron was supposed to be one of the best utility men in all of Major League Baseball?
June 17, 201511 yr I thought Negron was supposed to be one of the best utility men in all of Major League Baseball? Cmon man give it up. I said what I said and it hasn't panned out. Give it up that's the second time you've posted that now. I'm assuming you've never been wrong before. I said what I said and I based it off of the fact that he looked to turn the corner with the bat during his opportunities last season. The fact of the matter is he's never been much of a hitter even in the minor leagues but he did perform very well down the stretch last season and I believed he could carry it over. Utility men flame out as fast as relief pitchers, he hasn't duplicated last season but he's still valuable with defensive versatility. I'm not the only one on this board that thought the reds might have an improved bench this season and Negron was an important piece of that. As bad as Cozart has been the last several years I didn't think it was out of the question that Negron could cut into his at bats this year. Fast forward and Cozart turned it around this season and Negron regressed to what he's always been rather than carrying last season over. It is what it is.

I tried to tell all of you that the bench was awful. Now I guess you believe me. Negron has zero value. He's a poor man's Paul Janish.
June 17, 201511 yr Negron laid down a bunt with two outs with a three run lead. That's confidence. I literally laughed at loud at this. Who is better? Negron or Janish?

June 17, 201511 yr Frazier is really putting together a nice season for himself. Happy for him. Yep, he's been outstanding. I think he's their best trade chip, but I'll be shocked if they move him.
