So, just so we're clear, you think any time a MLB player makes a dumb mistake, they should be cut? And you're criticizing someone else for not knowing the game? :lol2: :lol2:

No not a dump mistake, a stupid one yes. Lets do something (that a pitcher normally doesn't do) and get in a run down, hold onto the ball and dive at the base runner to get him out. A pitcher diving to the ground at someone, that makes sense.

So one mistake from a guy in his 3rd ML game and he needs to be cut? That's just ridiculous.

How many games do you think hes played in his career? Way more than 3, he knew better, went stupid, got hurt, now he is useless.

He's 23. You think he's useless for the rest of his career? Just stop. Worst case scenario he's in their opening day rotation for the start of next season.

Reds promote pitchers Carlos Contreras (#53) and Donovan Hand (#51), option to Lou Boesch, disable Moscot, transfer Cozart to 60-day DL.

Reds have 9 relievers right now. :lol2:

Phillips 2B

De Jesus LF

Votto 1B

Frazier 3B

Bruce DH

Pena C

Dominguez RF

Hamilton CF

Negron SS

If that ain't a lineup to strike fear in an opponent, I don't know what is!

If hes in the MLB hes been playing baseball a long time, he outta know how to play the game.

I gotta go with plantmanky on this one.

So you'd also cut him?

No, but he should have known better. Bonehead play, one that we are taught from Knothole/Little League on how to execute.

Good riddance to Boesch. Dude sucked something awful.

Agree. Boesch impressed me about as much as Byrd.

So you don't actually agree with plantman. He thinks they should cut him. I said this morning that it was a dumb play.

Just agree with his post the kid is an MLB player and should know how to play the game.

Well obviously, but everyone makes dumb mistakes.

How many times have the likes of Cozart, Phillips, Frazier, and Bruce been caught between third and home on a grounder right back to the pitcher? No excuse for it, but it happens several times every year. He screwed up, and I can guarantee you he'll never make that mistake again.

Moscot made a stupid play, but made a stupid play while busting his rear end. I can forgive someone for making a mistake at 100%, unfortunately it caused him to get hurt
