The fact is spindoc, I am frustrated. I feel that a good number of my posts this year, especially in Reds threads, have not been responded to as an intelligent part of a discussion. They have been mocked. It is not a false perception by me. Anyone objectively reading the posts in this thread will see the mocking. Perhaps it is all in fun but when it happens repeatedly it gets old. This is the straw that broke the camels back for me. There have been a lot of these types of posts this year from you and others. It starts to feed on itself, as can be seen by the post from ColonelCrazy above, who I had never seen make a mocking post like that about me. Many a truth said in jest. CC's post I am sure was meant in fun but it perhaps prompted this reply even more than yours because it tells me others are starting to feed on the lack of respect I am receiving.

 

I am a big boy who has no problem coming right back at anyone who wants to ridicule me. I will set the record straight. I don't need or want a tissue. I do want respect.

 

Even in your derisive reply above you still don't give me respect. You say I shouldn't pat myself on the back for something everyone else did. Did you even look at the thread I cited for you? Did you not see that my posts in that thread about moving Mesoraco to the outfield were made 3 days before the thread you cited was even opened? Did you see UKMF's little :lol2: response that acted like it was clueless for me to suggest moving Mesoraco to the outfield? Sorry I didn't post in the thread you cited that happened days later, but don't try to act like I am lying and/or making stuff up. I cited the thread and the post that backed my comments, and you ignore it and then try to chastise me in your reply. That is just lack of respect. At least have the courtesy to look at the post I cited and recognize what I posted.

I have been asked in a sarcastic, mocking way if I was really being serious.

 

I bring all this up not for a pat on the back. I bring this up because I am frustrated by the lack of respect. I want you and others to know that I don't put posts on here without some strong thought and reasoning behind them. Why do you think it is that there are not more people on this site willing to post comments? There is a little clique here that loves to do just what you have pointed out. They find a weakness in a comment and tear it apart as quickly as they can. It had nothing to do with you & whether you were wrong/right. That sums up my thoughts as well. I always took it as good natured teasing. @voiceofreason I never intended to hurt your feelings about anything we disagreed on. I appreciate everyone's thoughts right (Mine ) or wrong. We are about a month away from zero Reds post so I'm happy to see anything someone wants to talk about at this point.

Like I said I was just stating a fact. I have learned who to quote and who not to quote lest I be made to feel like an idiot. I understand that there is a group of guys on here that know each other personally and have met at various venues over the last few years and that is great. I think I have learned when someone is making a joke and going back and forth with someone else and once again I think that is great. This site gives you an opportunity to give and get jabs on a lot of subjects. I don't have a problem with that I can take it I am a grown man. Personally I enjoy giving jabs to a certain few on here that get carried away with their loyalties and I think you know who those members are. I also know that I have seen people make comments and be treated like they are morons when they are merely stating their opinions. They should be entitled to do that without some of the comments they receive back which at times can sound quite derogatory. Once again I am good with what goes on I just pick and choose where I make a comment. No hard feelings here.
