June 9, 201511 yr Ivan DeJesus! First Big League HR. He has had some good at bats tonight versus Hamels. The kid earned his shot. He's 28. He's far from a kid.
June 9, 201511 yr He's 28. He's far from a kid. I know how old he is. He's not a prospect, he's been around. The point is he earned his shot and I'm happy for him. Kid might be a bad choice of a word for him, but I happen to use that word a lot and actually to get technical I do consider a 28 year old to be pretty close to a kid. He's certainly not old.

June 9, 201511 yr How bout that DeJesus kid! . Picking right up where he left off in Louisville showing a little bit of that doubles pop he's showed throughout his minors career.
June 9, 201511 yr Funny, I re-read this thread: http://bluegrasspreps.com/major-league-baseball/mesoraco-304083.html and I don't see VOR saying he should be in LF at all. I see everyone else saying though.

June 9, 201511 yr Give it a few days. I remember several on here being excited about Rosales and Dickerson a few years back. He's a utility player. Nothing more nothing less. He's hit at every level where he's seen extended at bats. He's yet to see extended at bats in the bigs. I'm not really excited about him but I'm excited for him. I'd take him over Negron all day every day. He's a professional at bat and not a hack like most of the team. Former 2nd round pick, big league pedigree, plays all over the field and actually still in the prime of his career unlike most of the bench options from years past.

I seem to remember that you picked Negron to be the same kind of guy. As a matter of fact I think you said that you thought that he'd take over at shortstop for Cozart by the end of the year and be one of the best utility guys in MLB this year. That was you wasn't it? Dejesus is a classic AAAA guy that's a liability with the glove.

Hey, if you want to make me into some kind of whipping boy or act like I am an idiot, liar or just dumb - you are working on the wrong dude. Find someone else to make the butt of your wisecracks.

June 9, 201511 yr The good news, Mezo didn't have any errors in LF last night. Of course, he didn't have one ball hit to him.
