@plantmanky Anything ridiculous to say about Votto tonight?

Head case.

He should hit a home run in every AB...

Didn't he have a walk. They don't pay him to walk.

What do you need me to respond for, you guys got it covered.

Outstanding....How long do you think Walt and Price are going to be content to play with 2 bench players?

I just watched the ejection of Bruce and that was weaksauce. The umpire was mad because he got called out for a terrible strikeout call.

Allstar game.

Until tomorrow when they bring Mesoraco back to play left in Wrigley. Won't that be an experience? Seriously, not even sure he is eligible to return as yet, but if so I expect this move to be made late tonight or early tomorrow.

^I would assume Bourgeois will be brought up for LF before Mesoraco is.

I gotta' tell ya, at least he showed some emotion. I get tired of watching him swing through two pitches, foul off another then strike out, turn and go back to the dugout like it's just another day at the office.

I agree with you. I liked that he was upset about the call. I did not like the umpire though. The video didn't show what happened when Bruce returned to the dugout but he looked to have calm down as he was heading down the steps.

Hamiltons hand has been bothering him since the Cleveland series. Put him on the 15 day and bring up Yorman.

Phillips is hobbled between the foot and groin, don't wait around for it to get better and play a man down. 15 day him as well and bring up Suarez.

Release Boesch and bring up Mes. I don't care if Boesch is a lefty off the bench.

It's a long season and this will give them time to heal properly plus it's not like Rodriguez and Suarez haven't earned it. It's a good opportunity to see what they can do. If they perform well than good it gives you options. Maybe you can trade Bruce, Phillips or Cozart and make room for them.

I think it will be a few weeks before we see Meso in LF on the big club.

You're most likely right. But the reports on his defense were pretty good.

MLB umpires seem to have LONG antennae nowadays. Just waiting to hear something.
