April 14, 201511 yr Who knows, but I doubt it before the draft. The Vikes hold all the cards. I would just say you play with us or don't play, unless someone goes crazy like the Raiders did for Palmer. I don'tt think the Cowboys will do that.
April 14, 201511 yr The cap may allow it, but are they willing to give up a 1st and 2nd this year, a 1st next year and probably a 4th or 5th the next year, also. That's about what it will take. It just isn't worth it unless you get a Rodgers. Plus they have to find a way to sign Dez. Not saying there is no way, but it is very unlikely. I think the Cowboys have shown lately they won't do these things.

The Bengals got a 1 and conditional 2 the next year and the Bengals knew the value would be much, much greater for the Bengals because they knew the Raiders were not very good. Those turned into AJ and Gio. The Cowboys 1 is in the 20's and probably near the same next year. The Vikes won't give him away because they don't have to.
April 16, 201511 yr My guess for the Cowboys, they will take a running back in the 1st or the 2nd round of the draft. Look for Melvin Gordon/Todd Gurley in the first round or 2nd round of Telvin Coleman who they just sent a scout to for his pro day.

AP is one of the greatest but if a guy like Forsette can be found on the cheap why would you give up the farm. Then again, Jerry likes his toys.
