I think Scott will play their hardest trying to finally beat SK it has been a long time. SK will not over look them and be ready to play them. I watched these 2 teams play 7 on 7 last year and it was back and fourth. Also the SK/Eagles Freshman game was also a good one to watch. SK will have to play tough to beat Scott.

Only 7.3 miles separates these two teams. This is a big game for the Scott Eagles, and probably if not the best competition they will play this year. SK is 6A and Scott is a 4A, but who cares any A? Being its Senior night for the Eagles, I see them coming out with great focus and intensity that will prepare them for their state run.

 

Also, let's not forget about Dixie. They only APPEAR to be in a down year. Coach Brossart has found ways to win in the past, and with a very intense weightlifting program, they will play very physical, hard-nosed football and will field some pretty good athletes of their own re: Caple, Faeth, Schulte, Barrett and Barrmore just to name a few.

Last 10 years?? How about biggest win ever? But in the grand scheme of things, it means little. SK is deep, it will be late in the season, and Scott will be more concerned with getting out of the game healthy to make a run in the playoffs

If Scott takes the short term goal approach to this game shame on them. I think this game is potentially bigger than their playoff run, because if they win middle school football players in Kenton County might start looking harder at what the Eagles are building. To sum it up, a win goes a long way in gaining credibility in the county.

 

It's really hard to put too much stock in a game like this that doesn'tean a whole lot to either team and at the end of the season. You never know who will not be playing to get ready for the playoffs etc.

Scott is on the upswing and SK has been doing well the last 5-7 years but they are still competing for athletes in the school system. SK names the score and rolls!

The Eagles will be outmatched in this one . Sk is too deep with numbers . I do believe it to stay close until about the 3rd quarter. I am glad they are back to playing each other again , as I am glad to see Dixie added. Scott should do well in the 4A district.

Will be a perfect game for SK to fine tune everything for before their deep playoff run to state!

From what I have seen, Scott has 0 chance at making this a close one. SK late in the season, Scott won't be within 4 TD's. And who was the smart one that made this Senior night....... Ouch

You may be slightly underestimating the Eagles. Lots of close ties between the kids at these two schools so I'm sure both sides will have some extra incentive to play hard.

What positions is Chase Floyd working with this year at SK ? Glad to hear he is part of the staff . My son played for him as an 8th grader on his freshman team , at Boone County a few years ago .
