After playing in the same district the last few years, I think this is really becoming a great rivalry/match-up for both the kids and the fans - with 3 straight THRILLERS! In Barker/Castleman's senior year it was tied at 20 with 6 minutes to go in the 4th before things fell apart for Scott. Last year it was a 62 yard burst by Pleasant late in 4th and a 2 pt conversion by London that got Scott by 16-15. Friday night was no different - another great thriller in the books!

London (check), Pleasant (check), Rice (check), Hicks (check), Berling (check), Tucker (check), Perrin (check), Fitzgerald (check), Hale (check). Scott Eagles 2015!!

Over 2700 yards rushing...Not bad for a 1950s offense. Also, speaks volumes about opposing defenses. Way to go Eagles!

I don't think you could - or even should for that matter - compare the two backs. They each bring very different styles of running that makes them both very unique, and together gives Scott a very dynamic back field.

So then you answered my question (the secondary). Are you suggesting Fitzgerald @ FS alongside Pleasant @ SS and Perrin and London at the corners? What about these "other talented athletes" that didn't come out last year that I keep hearing could very well be a good fit in the secondary should they decide to play this year?

Not just necessarily speaking on "going deep into the state" (although it won't hurt to show how you got there). But just being able to perform against those more formidable opponents period. Nothing against those programs but kids rush for 150-200 yards and 3-4 TDs on Holy Cross, Grant Co., etc. But then when they get into those bigger games...You know what I'm saying.

I think everyone who participated in this thread will agree on two things: 1. Northern KY's C/O 2016 will field some of the top RBs in the state this year; and 2. Jacob Smith will be at the forefront of that group. So, no one is ragging on him. He's very talented and the looks he's generating validates his abilities (as I stated, he can break a team's back if not contained). However, those looks only gets him on the recruiting board - alongside other talented backs from across the region/country. In order to actually land the offer (and this goes for every kid in that group) you have to perform on the big stage...

What about Gage Tucker? Isn't he going to play on the D-Line? He's continuing to develop nicely and with his size and strength he could add pressure as well.
