Don't you all know that the media knows better than you what you should be seeing and reading! They will tell you who should be elected to office, who should be prosecuted for crimes, what music you should be listening to, what sports teams you should be rooting for, etc....

Had that thread been titled black teens kill white stranger (accurate) would that have elicited complaints of racism?

 

Better question, if this thread had been titled man beaten by police after stop would we now be on post 32?

You'll have to ask police departments why they won't hire him.

 

I don't think anyone needs to ask those police departments, they don't want marches and riots going on 24/7 outside the police station.

I realize that. What I'm saying is in some twisted PC sort of logic was that thread purposely titled as it was to avoid controversy, where as this thread title had the racial component right there.

I still cant believe after all that has gone on the there arent more white cops that refuse or turn a blind eye to black crime in fear of being the next cop on trial

 

I don't know about crime, but about minor issues, stop and talks, normal investigation, etc. this has been going on for years.

 

In short, you turn the other way and if a crime is committed then you investigate it like you would any other crime.

If you got bills to be paid and mouths to feed you can't tell me some cops aren't thinking twice about certain situations.

 

I'm not saying its right but you will do what it takes to care for your family.

I agree. Those are the crappy cops. Those who are good at their job are the ones that will approach each situation the same regardless of the race of the potential suspect.

 

I think a lot of cops turn a blind eye to a lot of stuff. Anything that involves a ton of paperwork gets a blind eye especially if it is minor.

 

And most police officers I know would steer their kids away from law enforcement. Just too much political stuff involved.

Juvenile court is largely a waste of time for police officers. I know that isn't politically correct but it is what it is.

 

And I steer everyone away from law enforcement unless they tell me it is a burning passion.

That's the first thing I thought when I started to watch the video. The guy started off on the wrong foot and it quickly escalated from there. I'm sure when a police officer sees a door open, their adrenaline hits the roof! Too many what ifs in that scenario.
