March 26, 201511 yr That's the first thing I thought when I started to watch the video. The guy started off on the wrong foot and it quickly escalated from there. I'm sure when a police officer sees a door open, their adrenaline hits the roof! Too many what ifs in that scenario. I think stopping in a high drug area and having a suspended license were him starting off wrong, getting out of the vehicle is an aggressive act and only adds to the fire. But again, if the officers planted evidence, they should go to prison.

Your thoughts on the continual punching of his head? Was any of it excessive in your opinion?
March 26, 201511 yr Let's ignore the planting accusation for a minute. A few articles I read referenced "illegal chokehold." Your thoughts on that? Your thoughts on the continual punching of his head? Was any of it excessive in your opinion? All I saw was cops that don't know how to control someone. So yes, that stuff wasn't needed in my opinion. There are lots of ways to restrain even really strong guys when you know what you are doing and there were two officers, this should have been pretty easy for them. What I saw on the dash cam was terrible in my opinion.

March 26, 201511 yr The main officer involved has a sordid past. In Detroit, Oversight of Police Is Welcomed - latimes Saw that. But it all comes down to the evidence. The use of force may get him fired, the planting of evidence will rightly land him in prison.
March 26, 201511 yr Umm, there were racial posts all over that thread. #angrywhitemansyndrome
March 28, 201511 yr I never said that they were all racist, but look at the news and tell me. So we aren't supposed to paint all cops with the same brush based on what we see on the news, but we are supposed to do that with black men that encounter police.... Got it.
March 28, 201511 yr So we aren't supposed to paint all cops with the same brush based on what we see on the news, but we are supposed to do that with black men that encounter police.... Got it. Yeah just like the black guy who claimed his buddy was hands up don't shoot, he was a complete liar and started half the mess in ferguson.
March 28, 201511 yr Yeah just like the black guy who claimed his buddy was hands up don't shoot, he was a complete liar and started half the mess in ferguson. What's your point?
March 28, 201511 yr All I know is this race crap has to end, but I know it won't. All I see on the news is blacks blaming cops for bein racist, cops being killed for what another cop might do, cops being called racist everytime they pull over a black person or kill one in self defense. Anytime Obama is criticized it's racist to do so, media blows it up so bad with lies that people buy into it and riot. You have race baiters like Sharpton and Jackson. Heck man I'm just tired Of what the world has become, we are the most advanced civilization the world has ever seen and we have this type of problem, there are so many more important things than this race stuff. I just wish people would get along and not be that way. It's by no means person, just frustrated. Maybe one day we can meet and I will buy you a bucket of beer and we can bash each other's college teams and laugh.
April 20, 201511 yr Don't you all know that the media knows better than you what you should be seeing and reading! They will tell you who should be elected to office, who should be prosecuted for crimes, what music you should be listening to, what sports teams you should be rooting for, etc.... You realize that's no different than saying all cops are racist, right? Don't blame the media for what the media's consumers have time and again shown what they want. Good, bad or otherwise, those feel-good stories you seem to be clamoring for are largely ignored by the general public. You put a feel-good cop story and a scandal-type cop story up on your website at the same time, and I bet when you check back the next day there will be 20x as many people clicking on the scandal story.
