When have fouls EVER (non-flagrant) been reviewed?

I can't give a specific example, but I believe it has happened at the end of games. They also review 3 pointers, shot clock violations, time left in the game when a foul was called etc.

If they want a replay system they need to use it for everything. I'm not a fan of the constant reviews throughout the games, but if they are gonna do it, they may as well do it right. Imo, doing it right would include reviewing any questionable call in the final minute or two of the game.

I'm fairly confident that there has never been an instance when there was a "questionable call" where no foul was called, they reviewed and then called a foul. I'm almost certain.

If you want a review system to review everything, fine. The amount of time left in the game should make no difference.

How do you regulate when replay is used then? Coaches would be calling for a review every trip down the court. Then games would last 4 hours.

Rebounds: 29-25 UCI

2nd chance: 11-7 UCI

Bench: 7-2 UCI

Points in Paint: 34-28 UCI

Fast Break: 8-6 UCI

Good example why stats don't always tell the full story.

They were trying to foul, Pitino even said as much,. It was a horrible no call. Still would have had a chance to do something. Take all the breaks you can get. Survive and advance. Blackshear was huge.

Maybe a little bit of eating the whistle knowing what the strategy was. To call or not call was more subjective than the goal tended 3.

Survive, advance, repeat.

So the refs knew they were going to foul so they swallowed the whistle? That's a foul all day everyday, all the way across the body of the ball handler. Textbook...

You are probably right, but if they review everything else, why not review fouls?

I don't want a review system period, I think its silly and dirlsrupts the game. But since we already have one, I think It would make sense to review fouls, or am I just crazy?

That's the reason I don't like the system as it is. But why review whether a guys foot is on the line while shooting a 3, or review who touched the ball last as its going out of bounds, when you don't bother to review fouls that could decide the outcome of the game?

As I said before, I don't like the replay system, I feel it disrupts the game. But if your going to review one thing, you may as well review them all. I'm just venting on the NCAA I guess, this is just one more thing in a long list of things they have screwed up.

Exactly.. So why review anything then?

You are the one that mentioned reviews asking why it wasn't review. Fouls have never been reviewed. I don't see the problem with reviewing things that are black and white. Fouls don't fall under that category,

I was asking because if they are going to review something, a possible foul at the end of the game would make more sense to review than the ball going out of bounds at the start of a half.

My point is why review anything if you don't review everything. I don't like the replay system at all, but if they are going to use it they need to fix it. At this point in time the NCAA's system is broken.

If they are content on having a replay system they need to revamp it. Stop using the reviews, or review everything. A bad call is a bad call. A foul can be a game changer, as is a goaltending call, but they don't review those. However they will stop the game to see if your foot was on the line or if the timekeeper screwed up. That just makes no sense.

Whether or not a personal foul was committed cannot be reviewed.

Come on @TheDeuce. You can do it. :)
