June 8, 201511 yr My Sosa's arrived today. Even though you're supposed to put shipped cigars in the humidor for a week before you smoke them, I indulged anyway. It was a hair dry, but burnt perfect, and got better as it went. Paired with the last my Whistle Pig Rye.

I smoked three last night on the deck in Gatlinburg but tonight's is by far the best. May have another.

June 10, 201511 yr Mowing day. Gurkha Beauty and Old Style.. I got a few of the Beauties as part of several different samplers. Extremely well made, smoked flawlessly, but it was way too mild for me. Slight caramel sweetness. You guys that like milds may want to check them out.

June 16, 201511 yr Broke over and smoked 2 this weekend. Friday had the Gurkha Beauty with Johnny D and Saturday night had a Tabanero with Woodford DO. The Beauty was OK, but nothing to write home to Mom about. I need to go back to Ybor and get some more Tabaneros.

There's just not much flavor or body to it.

June 24, 201511 yr Sosas been marinating in the humidor for 10 days. Pulled one out last night. It was very good. Had a couple of glasses of port with it.
