Well if you were there, you sure weren't paying much attention! So far, you said LB was texting when he was really on a computer, you said HC got a lot of fast breaks when there was really about 2-3 in the entire game. And now you say there were a lot of fouls and "they wasn't called" (lol!) on HHS and even a kick! Oh my! When the game was called pretty even. I thought it was officiated very fairly. So were you really at the game when your lady Pioneers were playing the biggest game of their season??? Trader!

 

But on to softball season. I'm sure you'll be over on that thread trying to stir it up too! See ya over there. However, I don't respond over there so good luck!

Btw..if you can show me where I ever put HHS above any of the big three, I'll buy you an ice cream cone. HHS is very good and I have held their flag like others have held their team's flag. It's a discussion board. It's what we do on here. HHS picked a bad night to play really bad. It happens. I have said this to a ton of people. If you play bad against any of the big three, you are going to get whipped. HC has been able to keep the consistent high level in the big games so far. That's why that have won them.

And you must like Beechwood, Walton and ND as well. Now come to think of it, why are all those athletes leaving Independence?? NCC has a ton of Ft Thomas kids scattered throughout their programs...I don't root for them. I don't mind them at all, but I don't root for them.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. But are you saying HHS didn't miss wide open looks. I know what they shot from the floor and it wasn't pretty. Some to do with the defense and some to do with not shooting it well. I can think of 5-6 WIDE open looks that didn't go in. And just as many unforced turnovers. I really don't recall too many unforced turnovers from HC. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not saying turnovers. Im talking unforced turnovers.

 

No I'm not saying they didn't miss open shots but hc did also. Heck during the course of any game teams miss a number of open shots it's part of the game. As for turnovers force or unforced it's still a missed opportunity. hhc had their share of unforced turnovers as well. I think you would agree the first quarter was riddled with turnover after turnover by both teams. Very sloppy start to the game. To be out right Ms. Leigh was a bright spot as she found a way to score on several occasions around the rim. No one else seem to find any rythm as they rushed shots because the defense was closing out. I don't think we are disagreeing but seen the game through different set of lenses.

 

Now HHS had a great season and I look forward to them making a loud noise next year!

I argue for HC when they aren't given the credit deserved I've given HHS both of them there credit that they are very good but when HC beats both teams twice and you still want to argue they are all even is comical. As for the scoring argument go back and read the comments my exact argument was Leigh and Adler are there top scores and you posted stats proving that but tried arguing they aren't? Highlands is very good when they get out and run and play there game but when they are held back from doing so it hurts them a lot there starting 5 in my opinion is another big scoring threat away from being dominant but this year it's HC year in the 9th. That being said Holmes will not be a gimme game tonight it's gonna be a war can't wait to see this one!
