I agree. HC defense is legit. But the Birds would have been just fine without the unforced TO's and very poor shooting. And HC wouldn't have got to 40 either without us purposely sending them to the free throw line midway thru the 4th.

 

Let's not forgot all of the unforced turnovers by HC. I think the turnovers were just about even so let's not use turnovers as a reason. I see where you say HC defense if legit and really that's where the credit goes to for this game. 1. They rebounded well and defended the perimeter good especially limiting Adler (who is laser with her shot and definitely can fill the basket with the best of them) to VERY few open looks. That was key. Again defense won this game for HC not HHS shooting because the off night shooting was no fluke, it was defense.

 

I go on to say HC didn't look any better on offense missed point blanks, over shooting the basketball and that too was a tribute to the defense that HHS was playing. This was no doubt a game where the offenses struggled and defense prevailed.

I said HC would win by 10. 17 point blow is so much better!

They have "assembled" a great team for the one year run. I am rooting for them now since they don't get this chance very often.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. But are you saying HHS didn't miss wide open looks. I know what they shot from the floor and it wasn't pretty. Some to do with the defense and some to do with not shooting it well. I can think of 5-6 WIDE open looks that didn't go in. And just as many unforced turnovers. I really don't recall too many unforced turnovers from HC. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm not saying turnovers. Im talking unforced turnovers.

So far, you said LB was texting when he was really on a computer, you said HC got a lot of fast breaks when there was really about 2-3 in the entire game. And now you say there were a lot of fouls and "they wasn't called" (lol!) on HHS and even a kick! Oh my! When the game was called pretty even. I thought it was officiated very fairly. So were you really at the game when your lady Pioneers were playing the biggest game of their season??? Trader!

 

But on to softball season. I'm sure you'll be over on that thread trying to stir it up too! See ya over there. However, I don't respond over there so good luck!

Man, seems like there have been a lot of very good Highlands teams that struggle in the regionals. Like to see them get over that hump.

I just don't believe you were really there because your facts are screwed up again...but I'm really not sure why that throws up any flags because your facts are usually screwed up in most of your posts!

 

Will SK pull your golden membership card for not going to the biggest game of the girls season? Are you discriminating against the girl's sports at SK?

Besides talking to the silly poster on here...I do hope HC wins tonight beacause with the draw at state, it's my opinion they are the best chance to represent the 9th at state because of their makeup and personnel. Etown is a challenge in the second round and HC is the only team up here that has a chance to get past them...and that's not a knock on any other team. I include my Birds in that.

Silly posters? 3 weeks ago you acted like Highlands was the best team ever now your glad you get your softball players back. Sounds like you wanted Highlands to lose? Dale is probably proud of you posting on here. Good luck in softball season.
