With that said, I would vote for a moderate Democrat. I would much rather have a moderate Republican but again I am not planted on one side of the spectrum.

 

What I am dug in about is Hillary Clinton as President would be horrible for America.

Barring something Health wise coming up for Hillary, I don't see a legit candidate running against her. It's almost like, "It's her turn, we owe it to her". Much like when Bob Dole and John McCain ran.

We can revisit this in about a year and a half in November of 2016, but there isn't anyway that she isn't elected. The gains that the republicans had this past election are of no concern for a democratic president, as those gains were in areas that most likely wouldn't vote democratic anyway.

I don't see any way she wins. She will generate no where near the enthusiasm in the new voters Obama needed to win and she will generate enthusiasm in the opposition in ways we haven't seen for a while, if ever.

Where is she really liberal? Women's reproductive rights is about the only thing I can think of that would be considered classic liberalism. Her economic policy position and foreign policy in 08 were far more conservative than Obama's.

Well put. The onus is not on the Democrats to field a Hillary alternative; the onus is on the Republicans to field better candidates.

I know Hillary is extremely unpopular amoung conservatives. I think that only clouds their preception of Hillary's popularity, which is actually much higher than conservatives think.

Obama should want Hillary to win. She might make him look like a good President. The Democrats have no viable backup candidate. I would like to see Scott Walker win.

ACA is really Hillarycare renamed. So that is big government tag.
